Radio Program Sponsorship
Home & Family FinanceTM Radio
It’s your home. It’s your money. It’s your future.
Home & Family Finance™ Radio is a weekly one-hour program of helpful information and advice on important consumer and personal finance issues, such as retirement, education, budgeting, or buying a home. Host Paul Berry talks to consumer and money experts with an emphasis on what it all means to consumers. Now in its fifth season, the program airs weekly in more than 50 U.S. markets on the Radio America network and is beamed to U.S. military bases worldwide weekly on the American Forces Network. Podcasts can be downloaded weekly from iTunes and other popular libraries. The show is “presented by America’s Credit Unions,” strengthening the credit union brand and f urthering credit unions’ mission of financial education.
Current sponsors include CO-OP Network, Cabot Creamery Cooperative, and the Defense Credit Union Council.
As part of this sponsorship opportunity, Home & Family Finance provides sponsors with free air time in each show to run advertisements (either pre-recorded or scripted and read by the host), as well as a number of time slots throughout each season for guests selected by sponsors. The guest is most often an employee of the sponsoring organization or company, but can also be an associate of the sponsor. By spreading guest spots throughout the season, sponsors can select annual and seasonal topics such as couples and money, keeping New Year’s financial resolutions, taxes, vacation planning, back to school, holiday budgeting, and spending. Sponsors are also free to select topics such as financial literacy, investing, retirement planning, avoiding consumer scams, credit, and other kitchen table issues of interest to our consumer audience.
CUNA brings sponsor support to the attention of its member credit unions each week in News Now, on its web page dedicated to the program, and through other promotional opportunities.
